Are you a Mary or a Martha? Do you find contentment sitting at Jesus' feet, or do you sometimes feel torn between spending time with God and caring for those you love, including yourself? What anxious worries have kept you from living a full spiritual life?

Luke's powerful gospel contains more stories about women than any other gospel. Beginning with his story of Mary and Martha, we will explore how Jesus related to the women of his day in a radically different way; how he relates to us; what his message of transformation looks like for women; and what it means to serve and be served by Jesus. What we'll see is that the woman's path of spiritual growth may look quite different from a man's path. Join us as we examine the stories in Luke and discover how Jesus heals, frees, and empowers women, bringing them to wholeness and holiness.
