Meet Your Directors:

Father Adrian Burke

Father Adrian, a Benedictine monk of Saint Meinrad Archabbey since 1992, was ordained a priest in 1997. He holds a BS in Marketing from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business (’86), an MA (’93), and MDiv (’97) from St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, and an STL in spiritual theology from The Angelicum (2003). Since 2012, Fr. Adrian has presented workshops in spirituality, thrived in retreat ministry, and served as a spiritual director for seminarians, monks, diocesan clergy, and laity.

Sister Joetta Huelsmann

Sr. Joetta has been training Spiritual Companions since 2009, certifying nearly 100 new spiritual directors through an 18-month program. She is the former director of John XXIII Retreat Center and has served as Provincial of the PHJC American Province. With training in Ignatian Spirituality and a degree from the Shalem Institute of Spiritual Guidance, Sister Joetta is a dedicated member of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ.
