This time of deepening and renewal is for spiritual directors who have had some formation and wish to continue to deepen. It could also be for seasoned spiritual directors who are seeking renewal and deepening in community. Prayer, study, listening, reflection and shared conversations are ways of engaging with Spirit in our formation.
Purpose: To deepen one’s understanding and capacity as spiritual directors so that we continue to faithfully tend the Holy Spirit in this ministry.
Expectations:
1) Faithfulness to spiritual practice
2) Already accompanying people in spiritual direction
3) Commitment to 8 monthly sessions Friday 7:00pm through Saturday 4:00pm
4) Willingness to engage in readings, peer group, conversations and reflection papers.
5) Participation in a silent directed retreat. Each participant is responsible for scheduling their retreat.
